Artisan Stores

Art Supply Stores: Artisan has two stores in New Mexico (Albuquerque and Santa Fe) and has been providing art materials and service to the region since 1975. A wide range and variety of art supplies are available in these diverse settings.

Deals & Discounts

10% Student Discount with ID: Artisan wants to make local students’ money go further. Take 10% off your purchase (or put the rewards points toward your reward card.)

Teacher Deals: Artisan wants to help our local teachers’ art materials money go further, too. Flash your ID and take 10% off. (or put the rewards points toward your reward card.)

Artisan Reward Card: Artisan gives local customers rewards for shopping in our stores. Spend $500 and receive a gift card worth $50. One purchase dollar accrues one point, (tax not included). 500 points earns 50 rebate dollars stored on the card and acts like a gift card.

Store Specials: Artisan has various sales throughout the calendar year. Creativity is celebrated with great deals all year long. Check posts in the store and online.

Match Price Effort: Artisan will make every effort to match a competitor’s price on large orders to encourage local customers to buy locally. Bring in a print-out of the competitor’s page/offer. We will do our best.

Education, Demos & More

Store Demos: The store demos are usually scheduled on Saturdays at the individual stores. Check our website for individual store times. Demos cover a wide variety of topics. Questions and discussion are encouraged and resource materials are available. Demos can be customized for special interest groups. Manufacturers also have their artist reps in the stores periodically to demonstrate product. Reservations are taken. If you’re an instructor and have a demo proposal, we would be happy to consider it. Use the Contact page to get in touch.

Art Educators Night: Artisan values teachers and has an evening event at each of the Artisan stores for them to meet the manufacturers and learn and try new materials. Each teacher is given a valuable bag of items to take home with them. We encourage teachers — who need to create materials lists for their classes — to plan ahead and send them to artsupply@artisan-santafe.com so Artisan can have your class supplies available for your class.

Connection to Manufacturers as Resource: Artisan has good relationships with manufacturers. Customers are able to access the product information and support materials through a variety of mediums: printed, web, and personal.

Online Class Materials List Resource: Instructors can e-mail Artisan their class materials lists for student convenience. Include school class time and dates.

Class Kits: If you are planning a class and want everyone to start with the same kit, we can put together the materials and have them ready for purchase.
